Overview
The Benefits Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive global benefits and wellbeing programs to support the overall health, financial security, and productivity of our employees worldwide.
This role ensures benefits programs are competitive, aligned with Paychex business objectives, and responsive to the diverse needs of our global workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global benefits and wellbeing strategy that supports employee health, wellness, and financial security while aligning with the company's business goals and values.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all employee benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, leave policies, and voluntary benefits.
- Lead the development and promotion of well-being programs that address physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
- Ensure consistency and compliance in benefits programs across all regions, with particular attention to the US, where the majority of employees are based.
- Manage relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and consultants, negotiate contracts, monitor service delivery, and ensure the effective management of vendor performance.
- Lead a team of benefits and wellbeing professionals, mentor and develop team members, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure the effective delivery of benefits services.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders to align benefits and wellbeing initiatives with broader organizational objectives and to address the needs of a diverse workforce.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and wellbeing initiatives, provide regular reporting to senior leadership on program utilization, employee satisfaction, and cost management.
- Oversee the benefits and wellbeing budget, ensuring cost-effective program management while maintaining high-quality offerings for employees.
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements across all regions, proactively manage risks related to benefits administration, including plan design, vendor selection, and employee communication.
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- 8 years of experience in Benefits administration experience
- 4 years of experience in leadership role(s)
- Strong experience managing global benefits and wellbeing programs within a large organization
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $110,600 - $173,800 annually.
Please remember that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
