Job Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Delivers industry-standard education and training to learners.

· Designs and organizes lesson plans; suggests modifications to curriculum and additional resources.

· Conducts assessments and evaluations; tracks and records student progress and attendance.

· Selects, adapts, and customizes teaching materials to accommodate diverse student backgrounds, learning preferences, and specific needs.

· Facilitates classroom management by actively engaging with students to provide guidance, mentorship, and support as necessary.

· Encourages and advises students regarding behavioral issues, training challenges, personal concerns, or study techniques.

· Oversees and assesses students during practical training experiences.

· Engages in hands-on instructional activities for students enrolled in vocational training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Proven expertise in effective teaching methodologies, classroom oversight, and subject matter.

· Strong verbal and written communication abilities; exceptional customer service aptitude.

· High enthusiasm and capability to engage learners.

· Quick adaptability to educational methodologies and strategies.

· Proficient in utilizing various methods and tools for delivering instructional content.

· Competent in addressing student concerns promptly as they arise.

· Must be skilled in using standard computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

· Must be certified, licensed, or accredited by the relevant state authority or a recognized professional trade organization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

· Experience must comply with state or professional trade organization standards.

· Minimum of two years of instructional experience that equips the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the job responsibilities.

· Certification from AWS is preferred.

· At least three years of practical welding experience.

· A valid driver's license is required.
