What You Will Experience as a Crew Supervisor at Lewis:
  • Oversee daily production goals for assigned teams.
  • Provide accurate payroll and revenue details to the General Foreman or designated personnel.
  • Exhibit knowledge and proficiency in enforcing company and client policies, procedures, and daily operational requirements.
  • Support and guide Crew Leaders to achieve optimal results in operational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI Standards along with all company safety and personnel policies.
  • Assist the General Foreman with equipment maintenance and scheduling preventive upkeep.
  • Help the General Foreman in work bidding processes.
  • Secure necessary permissions for teams to commence work.
  • Coordinate with local officials or departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Address customer or homeowner concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain daily communication with the General Foreman regarding crew activities, equipment issues, safety, and other relevant matters. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Conduct oneself in alignment with the Company’s Mission and Values.
Qualifications Required:
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Crew Leader or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the public, customers, colleagues, supervisors, and corporate staff.
  • Must meet all qualifications of a Crew Leader.
  • Professional appearance and grooming are essential.
  • Willingness to travel, including potential overnight stays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including Herbicide Applicators or Operators Certification license and ISA certification.
  • Understanding that work hours will typically exceed those of a Crew Leader.
  • Proficient in computer use and map reading.
  • Physically capable of traversing utility lines, both on and off the road.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, CDL, and/or medical certificate as required for the vehicle operated.
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and job-related skills assessments.
