Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Arborist Ground Person to join our team. As an Arborist Ground Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tree care crews.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders in performing various tree care tasks, including pruning, rigging, cabling, and removals.
- Operate and maintain equipment, such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Implement work zone safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety rules and company policies.
- Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and knowledge in arboriculture and related fields.
- Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record are required.
- A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors is essential.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
