Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Sanitation Lead to join our team at Reser's. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning and sanitizing of our production facility and equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines
  • Dismantle and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
  • Instruct and coach employees on proper use of protective equipment
  • Label and maintain all chemicals
  • Train employees on good safety and health practices
  • Check that all machines are clear before production begins
  • Relieve Sanitation Supervisor when absent
  • Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sanitation experience in the food industry preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • English/Spanish bilingual a plus
Working Conditions
  • Refrigerated food manufacturing plant
  • Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and waste
  • Frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities
