Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines
- Dismantle and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
- Instruct and coach employees on proper use of protective equipment
- Label and maintain all chemicals
- Train employees on good safety and health practices
- Check equipment before production begins
- Relieve Sanitation Supervisor when absent
- Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
- 2+ years of sanitation experience in the food industry preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- English/Spanish bilingual a plus
- Refrigerated food manufacturing plant
- Wet or dry environment with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F
- Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and waste
- Frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs.
