Job Summary

Reser's is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Sanitation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning and sanitizing of our production facility and equipment used in production.

Responsibilities

* Clean and sanitize the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines
* Dismantle and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
* Instruct and coach employees to properly use protective equipment
* Label and maintain all chemicals
* Train all employees in good safety and health practices
* Check that all machines are clear before production begins
* Relieve the Sanitation Supervisor when they are not present
* Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

* 2+ years of sanitation experience in the food industry is preferred
* High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
* English/Spanish bilingual is a plus

Working Conditions

* Refrigerated food manufacturing plant
* The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F
* Frequent exposure to hazardous material and waste
* Frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs. is required
* Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities
* Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling
