Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex engineering tasks related to product and process design, focusing on successful implementation and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technology transfer projects, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and maintaining design history files.
  • Attend surgical cases, engage with surgeons, and stay updated with clinical literature to enhance medical knowledge, support sales efforts, and gather feedback on concepts or new devices.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering software for prototype design, test method development, and production support.
  • Source, evaluate, and coordinate procurement of new materials and parts from suppliers.
  • Lead installation of new equipment and ensure compliance with Installation Qualification (IQ) requirements.
  • Develop and execute design and process validation protocols and reports (OQ/PQ).
  • Analyze test data using statistical methods to determine adherence to functional and performance specifications.
  • Lead or assist in project planning, including timeline development, resource management, and task verification.
  • Evaluate and recommend cost improvement initiatives through product, vendor, and design optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to relay results.
