Position Summary:

The Senior Social Strategist will spearhead the daily creation of social strategies and innovative ideas across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and others for our clients. Reporting directly to the Social Strategy Director, this role involves conceptualizing and producing engaging social content that enhances clients' online presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing diverse social concepts, developing content calendars, and driving brand growth through captivating content and effective social strategies.

Understanding the nuances of each platform is crucial; what resonates on Instagram may not translate to TikTok. The Senior Social Strategist will know how to engage followers in meaningful ways, fostering conversations that highlight the value of our marketing efforts.

This role encompasses everything from major concepts and social playbooks to ongoing social franchises and influencer-led content. A strong emphasis will be placed on ideation and copywriting, with a keen focus on social media trends. A deep passion for fitness, sports, music, culture, and social engagement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily development of social strategies and influencer concepts across various platforms.
  • Generate and design social ideas and rollout plans in comprehensive documents and presentations.
  • Create, design, and present compelling pitch decks that showcase innovative concepts through engaging copy and visuals.
  • Craft impactful, brand-aligned social copy for various formats including pitch decks, video scripts, and social media posts.
  • Stay informed on social media trends and platform updates to generate timely and relevant content ideas.
  • Update and refine the social playbook, focusing on strategy, content, tone of voice, and creative ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with Social Media Managers to develop content calendars and with Creatives to conceptualize social initiatives.
  • Engage with client social teams weekly to brainstorm and innovate new social concepts that enhance channel performance.
  • Adapt quickly to feedback and refine ideas to meet the fast-paced demands of social media.
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams, helping to shape and adjust the brand's social media roadmap as necessary.
  • Translate client briefs into actionable social plans, ensuring seamless execution of creative and production elements.
  • Contribute creatively to all aspects of campaigns, from overarching strategies to specific social tactics.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in social media, whether in agency, tech, fitness, media, or brand environments.
  • A portfolio showcasing social media work, particularly in fitness or sports.
  • Experience in developing social strategies and presentations.
  • Proficiency in creating visually appealing presentations using Google Slides.
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms and their unique characteristics.
  • A genuine passion for social media, culture, music, sports, and related fields.
  • Exceptional storytelling, pitching, and communication abilities.
  • Experience in influencer and creator collaborations.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000 annually, along with eligibility for benefits and a discretionary bonus.
