Job Title: Small Projects Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Projects Estimator to join our team at George J Hayden Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating and coordinating small projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and coordinate small projects, including developing scope of work, estimating costs, and delivering final sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with estimators and project managers to develop and expand the small projects department, improving processes and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate light commercial and industrial projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and schedules, analyzing adherence to project budget and implementing cost control measures as needed.
  • Manage project equipment and material needs, working closely with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years' electrical and data experience or equivalent training experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification, preferred.
  • Strong electrical and data parts knowledge.
  • Proven computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations abilities.
Working Conditions:
  • Jobsite visits may require lifting, carrying, or moving 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
  • This position is safety-sensitive.
Special Requirements:
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel locally, in-state, and out-of-state to jobsites as needed.
  • Undergo and pass required background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physicals.
  • Conform to all company policies and procedures.
