We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team at George J Hayden Inc.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced electrical technician to work on a variety of electrical and data systems projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and data systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels.
  • Work with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure that it is in good working order.
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical trade certification or degree preferred.
  • Three years of experience in electrical and data systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA standards.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including customer sites, warehouses, and offices.
  • May be required to work in extreme temperatures, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
