Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of projects involving custom molded parts and tooling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics engineering and excellent project management skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers on design, engineering, quotation, and order procurement of new or modified custom molded parts and tooling.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, including customer interaction, quoting, tool build applications, molds, tooling, and final approvals.
  • Provide technical support for products to manufacturing teams and customers as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage projects to meet timelines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) to develop solid models for product designs.
  • Work with cost models and provide accurate pricing for new projects.
Requirements
  • Engineering or technical degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role within the plastics industry or plastic injection molding.
  • In-depth knowledge of injection-molded plastics properties, molds, and tooling.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet timelines and oversee projects from start to finish.
  • Effective interdepartmental and customer communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
