Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled Plastic Injection Mold Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating plastic injection mold machinery, changing over and setting up an average of 6 machines per day, and manufacturing mold machinery components from the tool room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate plastic injection mold machinery to produce high-quality products
  • Change over and set up an average of 6 machines per day to meet production demands
  • Manufacture mold machinery components from the tool room to support production needs
  • Operate multiple plastic injection mold machines simultaneously to maximize production efficiency
  • Troubleshoot mold machines and report issues to maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Propose upgrades to mold processes and collaborate with the team to improve production efficiency
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of previous experience in plastic injection mold operation and set up
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting plastic injection mold machinery and equipment
  • 5+ years of experience making molds and mold components in a tool room setting
  • Previous lead experience and forklift experience are a plus
