Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Private Duty Nursing Professional. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need of private duty nursing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members to identify potential nursing diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
  • Document patient care plans, including identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions, to ensure accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, patient care plans, and hospital policies and standards, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Revises patient care plans based on evaluation, changes in medical plans of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions, to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, establishing priorities and making informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse experience preferred.
