About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Torrid. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, providing an exceptional shopping experience that drives customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an Amazing Shopping Experience: Engage with customers, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations to create a positive and memorable experience.
  • Drive Sales and Promotions: Utilize your sales and product knowledge to promote add-on sales, drive revenue growth, and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store Environment: Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are tidy, well-organized, and visually appealing to inspire customers to shop.
  • Support Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining visual standards, including arranging merchandise displays, and ensuring a consistent and inviting store environment.
  • Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive and inclusive store culture.
Requirements
  • Previous Sales or Customer Service Experience: A plus, but not required.
  • Ability to Multitask: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Fashion Focus: Stay up-to-date on current trends, fashion styles, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Able to stand and walk around during scheduled shifts.
  • Packing and Unpacking Shipments: Able to pack and unpack shipments, arrange and move store fixtures, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Reaching and Lifting: Able to reach for merchandise using ladders, step stools, merchandise retrieving poles, shoe poles, etc.
