Job Title: Cyber Security Architect - Intermediate

About the Role

Cyber Security Architects are responsible for the overall maintenance of an organization's information technology security systems and protocols. They design and implement security measures for hardware, software, and network platforms to ensure protection from cyber-attacks and any other possible harmful intrusions that could compromise or damage an organization's data and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess existing cybersecurity systems and protocols and design and implement upgrades to existing measures as well as implementing new procedures.
  • Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts.
  • Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues.
  • Write and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 5 years of experience.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certification(s): DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
