Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Security Architect to join our team at Vanguard. As a key member of our Global Risk and Security (GR&S) division, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' and company's interests by designing and implementing robust security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to integrate and modernize endpoints (Mac and Windows) to ensure seamless security and functionality.
  • Assist in determining security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Plan and design security systems by evaluating network and security technologies, developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
  • Upgrade security systems by monitoring the security environment, identifying security gaps, and implementing enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security practices and standards by tracking industry developments, participating in educational opportunities, and maintaining personal networks.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Certification- CISSP preferred. GSEC preferred.
  • Expertise and proficiency in endpoint security technologies, such as EDR and EPP platforms.
  • Strong security background in endpoint OS platforms (Windows / Mac OS).
  • Strong knowledge of network topologies and security measures (ex. network segmentation).
  • Endpoint security experience utilizing MDM platforms.
  • Endpoint Zero Trust architecture experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security baseline configurations through DISA STIGs preferred.
