Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team at the University of Dayton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

The successful candidate will contribute to a growing team responsible for enhancing artificial intelligence (AI), autonomy, and data exploitation capabilities. An ideal candidate will be excited at the prospect of implementing state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques, with a focus on reinforcement learning, to reveal new insights and research new applications.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in AI and machine learning
  • Strong programming skills in Python or other similar languages
  • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with machine/deep learning techniques
  • Active US SECRET clearance
  • Professional experience with Pytorch, Tensorflow, or other similar frameworks
  • Source code version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or similar
