Our Finance department is currently looking for a Senior Accountant. This position is eligible for a hybrid/flexible work arrangement and is a full-time, exempt role.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Operates independently on complex assignments within the core accounting discipline. Conducts analyses and presents findings to management with recommended actions. Demonstrates the capability to perform responsibilities beyond their immediate unit.
IN THIS POSITION,

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Providing guidance and/or training to junior team members.
Preparing intricate journal entries and reconciliations and/or performing detailed reviews of simpler to moderately complex journal entries or reconciliations.

Independently prepares and analyzes complex financial statements, footnotes, and sections of discussion and analysis, consulting with senior team members as necessary.

May be responsible for a small to medium-sized project or a component of a larger initiative.
Engages in or may be accountable for key initiatives or other assignments within or outside their unit.

Conducts initial analyses of accounting issues or new accounting pronouncements, compiles findings in a detailed report, and presents these findings to the department manager.

Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously, many with tight deadlines.
May assist management with the audit process and communicate responses to internal and external auditors.
May be required to review simple to moderately complex work papers of peers and junior team members.
May be required to perform responsibilities at a similar skill level outside of their unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3-6 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. CPA or MBA preferred

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
Ability to travel as necessary.
