We are seeking a highly skilled Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in generating radiation dose distributions and dose calculations to aid in the localization and treatment of disease.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient information and coordinate procedure/treatment plans
- Implement procedure/treatment plans and evaluate their effectiveness
- Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiation therapy procedures
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities to ensure patient care is consistent with established standards
- Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall team effort of the department
- Certified by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Advanced computer literacy skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in radiation oncology dosimetry
