Job Summary

As a Clinical Nurse II Wound Center at UNC Health, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing in our wound care center. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex wounds, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • One year of experience in wound care or a related field.
