Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and delivering reusable dental instruments, as well as maintaining an organized and clean work area.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sterilize dental instruments to ensure they are safe for use
  • Deliver sterilized instruments to various departments and students
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Perform other duties as needed, including laundry and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary, but minimum six months experience in a dental or medical setting preferred
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and their maintenance preferred
  • Able to keyboard 40 wpm and operate basic office equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Licensures and Certifications: Central Service Sterilization Technician Certification preferred
