Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging educational programs tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
  • Classroom Leadership: Oversee classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Parental Engagement: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators and administrative staff to promote a cohesive and supportive educational atmosphere.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in early childhood education is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are a significant advantage.
  • Completion of the 45-hour ELC training or in progress.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a focus on Early Childhood Education being a notable asset.
  • CDA and/or Staff Credential from the Florida Department of Education is highly desirable.
