Job Title: Assistant Teacher

At The Learning Experience, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Leadership: Collaborate with teachers to design and implement a stimulating and welcoming space that fosters children's growth and development.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Support teachers in delivering our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Safety First: Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Family Communication: Assist teachers in keeping parents informed about their child's progress and milestones, leveraging a mix of mobile apps and in-person discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Work closely with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
  • State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills: Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting; ensure children's safety and meet their everyday needs.
  • Physical Resilience: Demonstrates full range of motion to stand, walk, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
