The Regional Security and Safety Manager plays a crucial role as a business partner, collaborating proactively with Property Operations and various cross-functional teams to pinpoint potential risks to the organization and deliver suitable, practical, and timely solutions. This position enhances security and safety awareness within their designated area to minimize the frequency and severity of incidents, which may involve offering training, reporting, and proactively identifying trends while recommending best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze security and safety metrics proactively within the designated area and recommend practical solutions to address any outliers.
  • Enhance security and safety awareness by designing and leading in-person or virtual training sessions with business operations.
  • Conduct thorough property audits and provide monthly analyses to leadership, including recommendations and follow-up on resolutions.
  • Perform on-site property visits, evaluating field safety equipment and assessing the physical security of the property.
  • Identify market trends related to physical security and formulate action steps to recommend and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders, as well as external government and law enforcement agencies, as necessary for security and safety investigations.
  • Guide and coach the investigating manager to ensure adherence to procedures and the completion of comprehensive investigations.
  • Lead investigations and mitigation efforts for incidents involving illegal or hazardous materials that require third-party assistance.
  • Support Field Operations during crises and natural disasters to ensure the security and safety of employees and property.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve positive outcomes on various ad hoc projects.
