Job Title: Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer

Perry Johnson Mortgage Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, determining creditworthiness, and negotiating loan terms with clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of applicants using financial analysis and risk assessment techniques.
  • Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and information for loan processing.
  • Utilize loan origination software to streamline the application and approval process.
  • Perform credit analysis to assess the likelihood of repayment and adherence to TILA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and denials.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in loan origination.
  • Work with partner lenders to originate and close loans.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial sales or a related field.
  • NMLS license required.
  • Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting software for financial analysis purposes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the client and the bank.
  • Ability to analyze creditworthiness and assess risk accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Pay:

The salary for this position is $100,000.00 per year, with opportunities for commission and bonus pay.

License/Certification:

MLO License (Required).

Troy, MI Required.
