About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Capital Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities and real estate planning department, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and management of our capital projects. Reporting to the Executive Director of Facilities and Real Estate Planning, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our campuses and facilities, creating innovative spaces that inspire learning, collaboration, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement capital project strategies that align with our mission, vision, and strategic priorities
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor selection, and construction oversight
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop project scopes, timelines, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to keep projects on track

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Business Administration, or the equivalent in terms of formal education or training
  • A minimum of three years of experience in capital project management, facilities management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept to completion
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Additional formal education or training in a relevant field such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration

Compensation and Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $50,000 - $80,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
