Role Summary:

As the Director of Healthcare Market Development at Barge Design Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts, reporting directly to the Director of Healthcare. This leadership position entails driving business development, fostering client relationships, and ultimately guiding healthcare design teams in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage project teams: Take charge by overseeing project teams, ensuring the successful execution of architectural and engineering projects within the healthcare sector.
-Build strong client relationships: Develop and maintain robust partnerships with clients, understanding their unique needs to ensure successful project outcomes.
-Encourage cross-functional collaboration: Work collaboratively with various teams to align client expectations with project deliverables.
-Act as a communication liaison: Serve as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
-Explore new opportunities: Identify new markets and business prospects to enhance Barge's market presence and competitive edge.
-Broaden client connections: Establish relationships with potential clients to expand our regional influence while nurturing existing partnerships.
-Implement client-focused strategies: Develop and execute strategies centered on client needs, collaborating closely with internal teams to secure new opportunities.
-Oversee proposal development: Lead the creation of proposals, including scope, schedule, budget, and contributing to fee negotiations.
-Represent the company at industry events: Act as the face of Barge, representing the firm at events, client gatherings, and industry meetings.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
-Experienced professional: A minimum of 10 years of experience in client service or project management within architecture and engineering, with a strong emphasis on healthcare projects.
-Proven success: A demonstrated history of successfully delivering projects and effectively managing client relationships in the healthcare sector.
-Technical expertise: Strong technical knowledge and a deep understanding of design and construction trends in the healthcare industry.
-Exceptional communicator: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging clients and simplifying complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
-Leadership skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams, ideally with an established professional network in the market area.
