As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meeting and banquet functions indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Breakdown: Break down, setup, and move tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags, etc... to ensure a seamless and efficient event experience.
  • Linens and Amenities: Put linens on tables and refresh meeting rooms with water, pens, pads, and other essential amenities.
  • Event Support: Perform other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations and ensure a positive event experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: Final candidates are required to present a valid driver's license and an original Motor Vehicle Record transcript (MVR) to the Colonial Williamsburg Company Employment Office.
  • Experience: At least 3 months of experience in a restaurant, banquet, or room set-up position.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy cleaning, high and low dusting, transporting objects weighing up to 75 pounds, and lifting, standing, and bending up to 8+ hours daily.

Working Conditions:

  • Availability: Must be available to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in all types of weather and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
