Job Summary

The Clinical Specialist will be responsible for loading, delivering, and setting up durable medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies to patients in their homes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, deliver, and set up durable medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies to patients in their homes
  • Demonstrate equipment operation and provide instruction for use of certain types of medical equipment
  • Ensure a safe patient environment as it relates to equipment
  • Complete follow-up visits for non-clinical respiratory patients
  • Conduct Home Environmental Assessments for oxygen patients
  • Assist patients in solving equipment-related problems
  • Complete necessary paperwork and required documentation
  • Exchange equipment due for maintenance
  • Set up and pick up diagnostic studies and ensure delivery to appropriate physician
  • Respond to emergency calls with clinical backup as needed
Requirements
  • Durable medical equipment (DME) intake experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Two-year degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field
  • Ability to use navigation system and follow maps
  • Experience in Brightree EHR a plus
