Role Overview:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will engage in dynamic and rewarding work, where each day presents new challenges. You will inspire your team to embody our mission and values while fostering a positive company culture. Collaborating with the General Manager, you will strive to meet financial objectives that support our operational and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to lead and support retail supervisors and their teams.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring qualified candidates.
- Train and monitor team members to ensure they understand their roles.
- Provide coaching and guidance to enhance team performance.
- Work with the Assets Protection team to address any incidents involving company property.
- Utilize company reports to optimize sales floor layouts.
- Assign daily tasks to supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
- Ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Oversee inventory management and merchandise quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a retail or similar environment.
- Basic proficiency in math and computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to embrace change and demonstrate decision-making skills.
- Proven track record in hiring and developing staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
