Job Description

As a Strategic Operations and Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our Sales Strategy and Operations team, driving business decisions through data-driven insights and process improvements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain ongoing and ad-hoc reporting for weekly and quarterly business reviews, providing critical insights to inform business decisions.
  • Systems and Operations: Identify and implement improvements in current workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and visibility, leveraging tools such as Salesforce and Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and deliver training programs and content to support new hires in getting up to speed quickly, as well as tracking key performance metrics to identify top performers and scaling learnings.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, ops, product, finance, and more to troubleshoot systems issues, review insights from analyses, and build future-state processes and systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Raw Smarts: The ability to tackle complex problems and solve them from start to finish.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, with experience in SQL, Tableau, or Looker a plus.
  • Process and Operational Thinking: The ability to tackle problems independently, iterate to solutions, and document them in an easily understandable format.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with sales reps and hardware engineers alike.
  • Flexibility and Hustle: The ability to manage change and ambiguity well, juggle multiple priorities, and execute in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

Verkada offers a competitive estimated annual base salary range of $55,000-$160,000 USD, depending on factors such as location and individual skills and experience. In addition to base salary, Verkada employees may be eligible for sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
