At Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert pediatric care to infants, children, and teens with complex medical conditions. With a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork, you will work alongside skilled professionals to assess patient needs, execute therapeutic procedures, and foster effective communication to achieve superior patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Execute therapeutic procedures, including respiratory care and ventilation management
  • Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
