Respiratory Therapist

At Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert pediatric care to infants, children, and teens with complex medical conditions. Our hospital is a premier clinical and academic health system, providing innovative treatments and therapies to our patients. With a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork, you will work alongside skilled professionals to assess patient needs, execute therapeutic procedures, and foster effective communication to achieve superior patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Execute therapeutic procedures, including respiratory care and ventilation management
- Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
- Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
