**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Writing Instructor to join our team. As a Writing Instructor, you will be responsible for providing individualized writing instruction to students, implementing curriculum, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement daily writing lessons for students aged 4-18 with varying skill levels.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to connect with individual students and promote personalized learning.
  • Teach fundamental writing skills to promote skill development and proficiency.
  • Supervise groups of students, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Organize and prepare daily plans in a creative and engaging manner.
  • Utilize effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create a fun and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists to achieve daily responsibilities and promote a positive team dynamic.
  • Model positive behavior and adhere to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, including tutoring, teaching, or youth volunteer work.
  • Writing instructor or teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:**

Ability to travel and respond to emergency situations. Good physical condition to execute all responsibilities associated with this position.
