Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service over the phone, resolving disputes and demonstrating proficiency in proprietary operational systems.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
- Interact with customers to activate, discontinue, or change services, and record information in the computer for customer service billing or product information.
- Fill out contract forms, determine charges for service requested, collect deposits, prepare change of address records, and issue discontinuance orders.
- Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill and resolves problems or complaints in a courteous manner.
- Engage or assist with sales for new or additional services, and prorate customer accounts based on account service changes.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred.
- Fast and accurate typing, in addition to 10-key skills, are required.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
