Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting sales team members with sales and marketing support materials, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and email correspondence.
  • Completing media agency Request for Proposals (RFPs) via Excel spreadsheets or through their bespoke tools.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop revenue opportunities through email and face-to-face conversations with existing clients and potential prospects.
  • Communicating with clients and media agency buyers daily throughout the lifespan of a media buy, pitching inventory, answering questions, monitoring media hold placements, seeking, and providing updates.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships with warmth and friendliness throughout the sales process, as well as through social engagements and client entertaining.
  • Meeting and/or exceeding targeted monthly and annual sales budgets and objectives.
  • Managing inventory availability, holds, and charting by communicating with property owners and media partnership teams.
  • Communicating with and providing status updates to SAM property owners and media partners frequently.
  • Assisting in negotiations with media agency buyers and clients.
  • Providing the Chief Executive Officer with periodic sales-related reports.
  • Managing and preparing sales and invoice paperwork, such as contracts, sales invoices, proof of completion paperwork, etc.
  • Assisting in the resolution of issues related to billing and accounts.
