Job Summary

The Operations Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current students and families by responding to financial aid inquiries and assisting in creating and updating student financial aid records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to financial aid inquiries from students and families via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist in creating and updating student financial aid records, including processing financial aid applications and awarding financial aid
  • Provide accurate and timely information to students and families regarding financial aid policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial aid services
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to financial aid regulations and policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, education, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of financial aid regulations and policies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in financial aid, higher education, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial aid software and systems
