Team Builder Recruiting is in search of dedicated Child Behavioral Support Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic support to children and adolescents dealing with Autism and other behavioral health issues. This position is particularly suited for individuals with experience in education, mental health, behavioral health, or special needs childcare who are committed to enhancing the lives of young individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage one-on-one with children and adolescents exhibiting behavioral challenges in various settings.
  • Implement positive reinforcement techniques, emotional support, psychosocial rehabilitation activities, and crisis intervention methods.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, educators, and family members, to facilitate behavioral improvements and enhance social and daily living skills.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work a combination of daytime and evening shifts.

Additional Requirements:

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Possess certification as a BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
  • Hold a behavioral health certification or behavior analysis certification from an accredited organization.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health support roles.
  • Have a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training program covering the RBT Task List, evidenced by certification.
