Behavioral Therapist

Community Services Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Consultant to join our team. As a Behavioral Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing behavioral intervention plans for children and adolescents. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing child-centered and family-based treatment according to Child Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical direction of services to children, youth, or young adults.
- Develop and revise individual treatment plans (ITPs) and oversee their implementation.
- Consult with treatment teams regarding ITPs.
- Submit billing-related documentation to facilitate payment of services.
- Maintain effective Multi-Disciplinary Team interactions.
- Act as a mandated reporter under the Pennsylvania Child Protect Service Law.
- Travel to site visits and meetings.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and implement positive behavior interventions and supports.
- Have knowledge of mental illness and behavioral issues, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM), child development, individual, group, and family treatment modalities.
- Build healthy therapeutic relationships.
- Be licensed in the Commonwealth of PA as a behavior specialist, social worker, or professional counselor.
- Have a certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or other accredited graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
- Have a graduate degree in ABA from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults and a graduate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college.
- Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college.
- Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
