Key Responsibilities- Customer Interaction: You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests, and providing support needed in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Order Management: You will take an active role in managing customer orders, including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims.
- Product Support: You will provide support on product selection and application, ensuring that customers receive the right products for their needs.
- Sales and Upselling: You will take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Communication Skills: You must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Customer Service Experience: You must have a passion for customer service and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Technical Skills: You must have basic computer skills and be proficient in using software applications to manage customer interactions and orders.
- Education and Experience: A high school education is required, and a 2-year or 4-year degree is preferred. 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role is also preferred.
- Competitive Pay: You will receive a competitive hourly rate, starting at $25.11 per hour, depending on experience.
- Predictable Schedule: You will work a full-time, hourly, non-exempt schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a predictable schedule to plan your life around.
- Benefits Package: You will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision plan, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, profit sharing plan, 401(k) savings plan, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
