About the Role
This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis. You will be responsible for administering speech and language evaluations, testing, and developing treatment plans for clients. Your expertise will help individuals improve their communication skills, leading to a better quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders
* Assess clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses
* Provide speech and language services to clients/patients/residents; monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly
* Instruct clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; provide consultation for clients/patients/residents working through speech and language treatment processes
Requirements
* Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist
* Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
