Job Summary

VTG is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support our professional services contract related to the planning, design, construction, delivery, and testing of ships overseen by the Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office (PMS 515).

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide guidance and oversight to measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Budget Review and Analysis: Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Financial Research and Development: Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.
  • Policy Development: Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
  • Training and Development: May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
  • Financial Modeling: Define the nature and extent of problems, analyze relevant data, and develop solutions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications: EVM Professional cert or equivalent, DAU BFM Level III Equivalent, or DAU Business Estimating Level III.
  • Experience: 5 years relevant professional experience.
  • Skills: DoD/DoN Systems such as ERP, Secret Clearance.
What We Offer

VTG offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$116,000 annually, contingent upon contract award. We are a Military Friendly company and consider work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and contractual requirements when extending an offer.
