Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for Program Scheduling & Coordination Analysts at levels L2 or L3 to join our diverse and qualified team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to fulfill all program objectives.
- Ensure program schedules are integrated both horizontally and vertically.
- Implement industry-standard scheduling best practices, including:
- DCMA 14-point
- IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Critical Path Analysis
- Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
- Schedule Performance, Health Metrics, and Analysis
- Provide weekly status updates and reporting.
- Track plans and schedules.
- Create, maintain, and validate schedule data.
- Conduct risk analysis.
- Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilize Gantt charts, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to assess progress and identify performance variances.
This position follows a standard work schedule of 9/80, allowing employees to work nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- 7+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- 10+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Additional Basic Qualifications for Both Levels:
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Milestone Professional and Deltek.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Proficient in MS Project.
- Experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience with loading schedules.
- EVMS experience and schedule management.
- Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
- Background in the Aerospace/Defense Industry.
Salary Range:
$68,500 - $102,700
Salary Range 2:
$84,200 - $126,400
The above salary range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.Additionally, Northrop Grumman offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plans, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
