Job Summary:
Directions for Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Supervisor of Homeless Outreach Mobile Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our Housing First Division, you will provide supervisory oversight for our Homeless Outreach Mobile Engagement program, supporting adults and families living without homes or at risk of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and guidance to Street Outreach teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to effectively engage with clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to link clients to community resources, including behavioral health care and other essential services.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other stakeholders to identify and address the needs of high-risk populations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular site visits and provide feedback to teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field, with a minimum of two years' leadership experience in an outpatient community mental health organization, homeless services organization, or social service agency.
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as electronic health records and other software applications.
- Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clear driving record.
