Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients and physicians, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including MRI and CT scans
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Vocational or technical training in diagnostic imaging or a related field
  • ARRT registration or eligibility with successful completion within 90 days
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • 1 year of experience as a technologist (preferred)
