Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Perform excellent patient care, including verifying patient identification and documentation
  • Perform examinations, including accurate patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
  • Identify relevant data from images accurately and communicate pertinent data clearly to healthcare professionals
  • Participate in crafting a culture of patient safety and adhere to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
  • Accurately document in compliance with regulatory agency requirements and complete computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes
  • Follow infection control guidelines and serve as a resource for other healthcare team members
  • Respond appropriately to emergent situations and accurately image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
  • Assess the validity of test results and act as a resource for problem-solving resolution
  • Participate in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives and responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
  • Clean and maintain room and supplies, and provide coordinated services with customers and care partners to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
  • Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be current before hire date and from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Preferred qualifications include 1 or more years of experience in a related role, additional certifications in Imaging, and understanding of current MN Dept of Health Regulations
