We are seeking a highly skilled Land Agent to join our team at ERM International Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing right of way agreements, understanding land titles, mapping, and acquiring land rights analysis, licenses, leases, permits, and other documents necessary for our NGL pipeline project.
Responsibilities:- Conduct document reviews and comparisons to mapping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Work with landowners and their designees to settle damage claims related to property damage.
- Search courthouse and other records to determine present property ownership and extent of interest.
- Advise on establishing fair market values for land acquisition and land rights of access.
- Draft and/or supervise the preparation of documents for rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase, and other necessary documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- High school diploma required.
- 3+ years of ROW or related real estate experience.
- Solid working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software.
- Knowledgeable in real estate and accepted real estate practices.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
- Must meet criteria identified in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office.
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen.
