Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our pipeline project team, you will be responsible for obtaining survey permissions, settling damage claims, and acquiring land rights. Your expertise in real estate values and appraisal practices will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex negotiations with landowners to secure survey permissions and land rights.
  • Work with landowners to settle damage claims and resolve property disputes.
  • Search public records to determine property ownership and interests.
  • Advise on fair market values for land acquisition and rights of entry.
  • Draft and prepare documents for rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, and other necessary agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 5+ years of experience in ROW or related real estate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software.
  • Knowledgeable in real estate values and appraisal practices.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet job demands and conditions analysis criteria.
  • Pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license.
