Pediatric Care Assistant II

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Care Assistant II to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a PCA II, you will be responsible for assisting the nurse in completion of patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient's developmental levels.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, accept delegated tasks, and have the knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as indicated. You will also be responsible for handling patient information with confidentiality and privacy in mind.

What You'll Do:
As a PCA II, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting nurses with patient care activities, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- High School diploma or equivalent
Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour (based on experience)
