Job Overview
We're seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a night shift. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.
Responsibilities
* The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) provides care that requires knowledge and skills obtained from advanced formal education and clinical experience.
* In collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, the ACNP may provide preventive, acute, specialized, and primary care services to patients consistent with the nurse's education and certification.
* Services provided by the ACNP may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of identified health needs, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and/or laboratory tests, formulating, documenting, and monitoring treatment plans, routine wound or post-operative dressing management, ordering interdisciplinary consults, and ordering pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies and/or interventions.
* In addition to standard ACNP responsibilities, duties also include the day-to-day management and development of the nurse practitioner program.
Qualifications
Required:
* MSN-NP (ACNP)
* Ohio RN license with eligibility for licensure in states as needed for telemedicine
* Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
* Two years' RN experience
Preferred:
* Two years' Pediatric ICU experience
